Multi Skilled Engineer
Location: Lichfield
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are currently seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your skills will directly contribute to the performance and safety of critical equipment and building services.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform fault finding and preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery.
+ Provide electrical and mechanical expertise on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
+ Work on three-phase systems (up to 440V), motors, gearboxes, valves, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
+ Use mobile devices and CAFM systems to manage and complete tasks.
+ Liaise with site services to resolve building-related issues.
+ Write and follow risk assessments and method statements.
+ Supervise contractors and deputise for the Shift Leader when required.
+ Be available for overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed.
**Experience & Qualifications**
Essential:
+ Recognised or time-served apprenticeship.
+ City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications (minimum 17th Edition).
+ Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds standard.
+ NVQ Level 2 in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines.
+ Strong experience in manufacturing maintenance.
+ Competence in fault finding, PLC diagnostics, and repair.
+ Experience with 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters.
+ Hydraulic and pneumatic systems expertise.
+ Ability to write and understand permits, risk and method statements.
Desirable:
+ Working at Height qualification.
+ IPAF certification.
+ AP qualifications.
+ Experience in heavy engineering.
