What the day will look like A core member of Aon’s Asia Pacific regional reinsurance broking team, reporting to the Head of Life & Health Reinsurance, APAC Develop and own the Multi-National client segment strategy, including market positioning, client coverage model, and value proposition. Set and manage financial targets on the segment. Identify and prioritize growth opportunities by client, market, product line and solutions. Act as executive sponsor for strategic clients in the segment, building trusted, long‑term partnerships at C‑suite and senior management level. Oversee and coordinate multi‑market / multi‑product relationships with key groups Lead and support key client negotiations (e.g., large tenders, strategic partnerships). Ensure regular strategic account planning, including client plans and relationship mapping. Drive origination of new business across life & health traditional and capital solutions reinsurance. Partner with local broking, regional capital solutions and risk analytics teams to align strategies, design innovative solutions and manage execution of transactions meeting clients’ needs Maintain a deep understanding of APAC life and health re/insurance markets relevant to the segment Translate market insights into actionable strategic initiatives and product opportunities. Collaborate with (re)insurance markets to expand the current (re)insurance offering to provide flexibility and capacity to the customer Promote a client‑centric culture and high standards of professionalism, integrity, and collaboration across markets. How this opportunity is different We are seeking a highly motivated and equally talented individual to join our Life & Health Reinsurance team servicing our Asia Pacific multi-national clients. In this role, based in Hong Kong, the new team member will play an integral part in the development of our Life & Health Reinsurance business. The role will focus on identifying and understanding our Life & Health Multi-National insurance clients’ objectives and needs (financial, commercial, strategic), working with our local teams across APAC countries, and implementing optimal (re)insurance solutions from conception to execution. Skills and experience that will lead to success University graduate in Business, Economics, Actuarial Science or related fields such as Finance or Statistical studies. Typically 12–15+ years of experience in life or health (re)insurance, consulting or related financial services. Strong track record in reinsurance or life insurance in APAC, ideally in regional or multi‑market roles. Strong marketing, business development and complex multi-stakeholder management skills are essential. Solid understanding of life and health products, reinsurance structures (proportional / non‑proportional, financial reinsurance), and capital / solvency considerations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and take ownership for delivering results. Cultural fluency and ability to work effectively across diverse markets and regulatory environments. Excellent relationship‑building, communication and negotiation skills, with ability to engage at C-suite and senior manager levels within internal and external organisations.
