Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment, including dryers, evaporators, and boilers, remains in working order throughout the plant. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical problems, performing preventative maintenance, and welding as necessary. The technician must be able to read and understand machinery manuals, comprehend the use of production and cleaning chemicals, and ensure proper safety procedures and protective gear usage.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair equipment such as dryers, evaporators, and boilers.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid equipment failures.Perform welding tasks, especially welding stainless steel sanitary items within the first six months.Read and understand machinery manuals and ask questions when necessary.Understand and properly handle production and cleaning chemicals, including mixing and safety procedures.Work independently with minimal supervision.Rebuild machinery as required.Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.Ensure compliance with safety policies by other associates and contractors.Work at heights, climb ladders and stairs, and operate scissor lifts.Operate various mechanical forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand trucks.Maintain and use basic hand tools effectively.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical and industrial maintenance.Experience with TIG welding, boiler systems, chillers, and pneumatics.Ability to weld stainless steel sanitary items.Basic knowledge of hand tools and their maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding skills are not critical initially, but will be required after permanent employment.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
