Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all production machinery, including paint process machines, paint robotics, hydraulic presses, conveyor systems, welders, and rack systems. You will also handle general maintenance duties as needed.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair production machinery including paint process machines, robotics, and hydraulic presses.Perform maintenance checks and repairs for paint equipment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to 5 'S' Standards.Assist Automation Technicians with repairs and apply preventive maintenance strategies.Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, and electronic transmission testing and control equipment up to maximum plant voltage.Diagnose and solve mechanical, electrical, or electronic issues with paint application and support equipment, including RTO, robots, chillers, air-houses, burners, and conveyors.Design and install supports, conduit, wiring, and piping for various equipment.Build and repair large single-phase and three-phase equipment from wiring diagrams and sketches.Maintain compliance with all applicable codes and guidelines by NFPA, NEC, OSHA, etc.Operate power tools including grinders, drill presses, and saws.Responsible for rigging, moving machinery, and accurate installation.Ensure all equipment is properly lubricated and maintained.Troubleshoot and diagnose repairs on all paint line equipment.Assist other maintenance technicians as required.Essential Skills
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.Experience with robotics, schematics, preventive maintenance, and PLC troubleshooting.Proficiency in welding, fabricating modifications, and performing preventive maintenance checks.Ability to work with conveyor systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance.Knowledge of single and three-phase electrical systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with power tools and rigging machinery.Ability to read and build from wiring diagrams and sketches.Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing paint environment. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including a second shift from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and rotating night shifts of 12 hours. Training will occur over a six-month period on a rotating 12-hour schedule.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.11 - $40.11/hr.
