Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at a food-grade, non-food manufacturing plant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and troubleshooting a wide variety of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment including:Heating elements, rollers, cutters, motors, and cranesAutomation systems and PLCs (Siemens preferred)Pneumatic and hydraulic systemsDiagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues independently from start to finishRead and interpret schematics and technical manualsFollow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safetyWork in physically demanding environments, including hot areas (up to 125°F), tight spaces, and elevated platformsMaintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with team members and supervisorsTop Skills & Qualifications:Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience with industrial maintenance, preventive maintenance, and machine repairFamiliarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, 3-phase systems, and automationAbility to read schematics and perform PLC troubleshootingWelding experience is a plus (not required)Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedulePreferred Experience:Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial settingExperience working with Siemens PLCs and automated systemsKnowledge of HVAC systems and computer-based diagnosticsWhy Join Us?Opportunity to work in a clean, food-grade facilityBe part of a skilled and supportive maintenance teamCompetitive pay and benefitsLong-term career growth potentialPosition Type
