Job Description
This entry-level position focuses on supporting manufacturing resource planning (MRP) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) processes. The role requires understanding part numbers, bill of materials, and internal system structures, while creating and managing work orders based on system demand signals and inventory needs.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister daily MRP runs and monitor output for errors, anomalies, and inconsistencies.Perform data validation and cleansing activities to ensure accurate Bills of Material (BOMs), inventory levels, lead times, and routing information.Investigate and correct data errors within the MRP system promptly to maintain planning accuracy.Analyze MRP outputs to identify potential shortages of components required for machinery assembly and spare parts kits.Collaborate closely with the ERP Manager and Green Parts Manufacturing Coordinator to create, review, and adjust Epicor jobs based on MRP recommendations, production schedules, and emergent needs.Facilitate daily or weekly production meetings to discuss material availability, production bottlenecks, and schedule adjustments.Optimize production flow through the welding and paint teams based on MRP-driven priorities and component readiness.Enhance part master data attributes within the MRP system to enable more intelligent and efficient planning.Serve as a key liaison between Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Sales regarding material availability and production schedules.Generate reports and dashboards from the MRP system to provide insights into material status, production adherence, and potential risks.Essential SkillsBasic computer literacy with proven skills in Microsoft Excel.Proficiency in Excel functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and general data manipulation.High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and system tasks.Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsERP/MRP System Administration Experience, preferably with Epicor.Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, including proficiency in advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis.Ability to read and interpret engineering prints.1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly with complex Bills of Materials (BOMs) and sub-assemblies.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
