MRP Specialist
**Job Title: MRP Specialist** **Job Description** As an MRP Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration and data integrity of the MRP system, ensuring accurate planning and production flow within a manufacturing setting. You will analyze system outputs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance MRP system functionalities to optimize operations. **Responsibilities** + Administer daily MRP runs, monitoring output for errors, anomalies, and inconsistencies. + Perform data validation and cleansing activities to ensure accurate Bills of Material (BOMs), inventory levels, lead times, and routing information. + Investigate and correct data errors within the MRP system to maintain planning accuracy. + Analyze MRP outputs to identify potential shortages of components required for assembly and spare parts kits. + Collaborate closely with the ERP Manager and Green Parts Manufacturing Coordinator to adjust Epicor jobs based on MRP recommendations and production schedules. + Facilitate production meetings to discuss material availability, bottlenecks, and schedule adjustments. + Optimize production flow through welding and paint teams based on MRP-driven priorities. + Enhance part master data attributes within the MRP system for intelligent planning. + Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new MRP functionalities or system improvements. + Serve as a key liaison between Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Sales regarding material availability and production schedules. + Generate reports and dashboards from the MRP system to provide insights into material status and production adherence. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of experience administering an ERP or MRP system, preferably Epicor. + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis. + Ability to read engineering prints with at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. + 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting with complex BOMs and sub-assemblies. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with data validation and cleansing within an MRP system. + Production planning experience and collaboration with production teams. + Cross-functional collaboration skills. + Knowledge of MRP enhancements and system improvements. + Experience in generating reports and dashboards from MRP systems. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **Why Work Here?** Our organization offers an innovative and collaborative environment with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
