Responsibilities: + Perform state-of-the-art MRI procedures with precision and confidence + Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding + Provide compassionate care, easing anxiety and maintaining patient privacy + Position patients and operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images + Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize results + Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring safety and functionality + Utilize advanced computer systems, including PACS and RIS, for smooth workflow + Administer contrast media safely and effectively, following all protocols + Be a vital part of emergency response when needed, demonstrating quick thinking and expertise Qualifications: + Certified MRI Technologist with NYS Licensure and ARRT Certification + Valid Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification + 2+ years of hands-on experience in MRI + Strong knowledge of human anatomy and radiology procedures + Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records + BLS certification and excellent communication skills + Bilingual abilities (Spanish or second language) are a plus! *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
