MRI Technologist

Responsibilities:

Perform state-of-the-art MRI procedures with precision and confidence Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding Provide compassionate care, easing anxiety and maintaining patient privacy Position patients and operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize results Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring safety and functionality Utilize advanced computer systems, including PACS and RIS, for smooth workflow Administer contrast media safely and effectively, following all protocols Be a vital part of emergency response when needed, demonstrating quick thinking and expertise

 

Qualifications:

Certified MRI Technologist with NYS Licensure and ARRT Certification Valid Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification 2+ years of hands-on experience in MRI Strong knowledge of human anatomy and radiology procedures Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records BLS certification and excellent communication skills Bilingual abilities (Spanish or second language) are a plus!
