This role evaluates site conditions, verifies compliance with MR environmental and structural requirements, and recommends corrective measures to ensure successful MR system installation. Roles and Responsibilities
Site Suitability Assessment & Technical SupportReview Site Survey reports, technical test results, and Design Center drawings to confirm site readiness for MR installation. Providing technical recommendations and corrective actions to address any non-conformities.Evaluate potential risks affecting MR performance, including:EMI (Electromagnetic Interference)Steel mass and structural influencesVibration impactGauss line exposure and Shielding designHelium venting and pipe routingWork closely with Project Managers to guide installation planning, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with MR system requirements.Partner with global MR engineering teams and other stakeholders on complex or escalated site challenges.Support MR installation projects across AKA (ASEAN, Korea, Australia and New Zealand), Japan, India and South Asia.Vendor & Shielding ValidationAssess new shielding vendors to ensure their designs, materials, and construction methods meet GE HealthCare standards.Provide technical approval or required improvement actions for vendor qualification.Cross-Functional Collaboration & CommunicationServe as a technical advisor to Project Managers and site stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of MR requirements.Translate complex engineering requirements into actionable guidance for customers, vendors, and internal teams.Maintain adherence to GEHC processes, documentation requirements, and installation quality standards.Required Qualifications
minimum 3 years of experience in MR, medical equipment, or site engineering (installation, design, or field engineering).Strong understanding of EMI, magnetic shielding, vibration analysis, and MR environmental requirements.Ability to interpret technical drawings, site surveys, and engineering documents.Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and internal/external partners.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in English for regional and global collaboration.Desired Characteristics
Ability to use AutoCAD and interpret architectural drawings.Self-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in parallel.Demonstrated ability to work across cultures and support multi-country projects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.#LI-SE
