Mountain View Facilities Manager
**Description** **The Mountain View Facilities Manager is responsible for executing, sustaining, and operating facilities operations at a client's Mountain View, CA location. These facilities include office and hospitality spaces. This role is instrumental in operating safe, reliable, and highly maintained environments and is instrumental in driving an optimal employee experience, and is considered hands-on. This role is customer facing and a high level of customer service and excellent communication skills is required. This role reports to the REWS West Coast Regional Facilities Manager.** **Responsibilities** + **Scope includes client’s Mountain View, CA location.** + **Lead, prioritize, and manage Soft and Hard services** + **Manage facilities program for the building to include, but not be limited to: janitorial, HVAC, lighting, periodic deep cleanings, food service, plumbing, electrical, shipping & receiving and others.** + **Maintain facilities in code compliant manners, ensuring inspection passage** + **Identify and recommend vendors to provide various services and maintenance activities which provide a reliable and positive workplace experience.** + **Partner with REWS Workplace Services, Security, AV, IT, and business partners to deliver meeting and event settings, leading setup and takedown** + **Partner with REWS Workplace Services, Security, EH&S, and Facilities Management leaderships to execute upon workplace and safety optimizing programs** + **Develop and maintain positive operating relationships with building property managers** + **In partnership with REWS West Coast Regional Facilities Manager, develop and maintain a Facilities operational budget for the Mountain View, CA facility.** + **Receive, manage, triage, assign, and execute work orders and requests** + **Manage ticketing, assignment, delegation, and execution of facilities-related tickets in Mountain View, CA** + **Manage application of digital signage program in Mountain View, CA.** + **Perform site walkthroughs with vendors and contractors to identify maintenance issues and to set a resolution plan.** + **Drive scheduled facility and facility infrastructure maintenance program by developing and implementing a preventative maintenance schedule.** + **Drive execution of Facilities operational programs deployed by REWS Workplace Strategy and work closely with the West Coast Regional Facilities Manager in measurement of success.** + **Drive a proactive maintenance mindset to minimize unscheduled break/fix scenarios and lead a fiscally responsible program to maintain inventory of necessary parts.** + **Manage vendor relationships to troubleshoot unscheduled maintenance and oversee repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other miscellaneous equipment,** + **Manage, draft and publish preventative maintenance documentation, including SOPs, work instructions and checklists as required. Maintain contact lists.** + **Maintain documentation of Facilities vendor activities, work performed, maintenance schedules, parts inventories, BMS reporting, etc. using established facilities structures in a manner to support historic inquiries and audit functions.** + **Be available in an on-call fashion for off hours support.** + **Manage office-wide communications channels (email aliases, digital signage, office website, office Slack channel) and events. Solicit volunteers as needed to activate culture-building events at your site.** + **Serve as the main site point of contact for the office: attend regular central planning meetings with other client office POCs, lead on the ground execution of client-wide events and communications.** + **Help manage the Mountain View site budget, working closely with client HQ to forecast and analyze facilities-related spend.** **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + **BA/BS degree or equivalent Facilities Management experience in a supervisory role.** + **3+ years of experience in managing, maintaining, and monitoring facilities environments, systems and equipment.** + **Some technical knowledge of mechanical systems and other facilities operations including but not limited to HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, furniture systems, and office spaces.** + **Collaborative mindset and demonstrated relationship and consensus building across partner organizations** + **Experience partnering with EH&S team to launch and implement safety programs in a diverse and regulated environment.** + **Collaborative and highly effective communicator with management experience.** + **Be available “on-call” as needed.** + **Excellent time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize numerous requests.** + **A positive attitude/outlook is essential, with a track record of providing a superior level of customer (i.e. employee) experience and service.** + **Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving and organizational skills.** **Preferred Qualifications:** + **CFM, FMA, or FMP Certification.** + **Membership in professional organizations such as CORENET, IFMA, etc.** **Job Title: West Coast Regional Facilities Manager** **Location: Mountain View CA** **Pay Range: Competitive Rate** If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
