Job Title: Molecular Production Lab Technician
Job Description
As a Molecular Production Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in testing, packaging, and quality control of raw materials and products manufactured by the company. You will be responsible for completing all required documentation relevant to testing and releasing products. You will contribute to the development of specifications and protocols to ensure all products meet their specifications, supporting all applicable regulations including FDA, ISO, and CMD/CAS requirements.
Responsibilities
Test, package, and conduct quality control of raw materials and products.Complete all required documentation for testing and product release.Develop specifications and protocols to ensure product standards are met.Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and CMD/CAS regulations.Consistently use pipettes, navigate microscope slides, and operate plate readers.Analyze data using a computer, maintaining proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.Generate tables, charts, graphs, and reports.Perform multi-tasking efficiently.Essential Skills
Proficiency in QC techniques, ELISA, PCR, and molecular biology.Experience with pipetting, aseptic techniques, microbiology, and molecular cell biology.Strong analytical skills and familiarity with laboratory procedures.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biological Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or any bio-related field preferred.Experience in an academic lab setting with pipetting, PCR, or aseptic techniques.Familiarity with ELISA and preferred IFA assay experience.Work Environment
Work in a sterile laboratory environment assisting in the production of Molecular Test kits. Training will cover basics of packaging and assembling kits, PCR tests, and formulations. The team comprises 10-15 lab technicians. Safety gear, including a lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves, will be provided. Be prepared for repetitive tasks involving frequent pipette use. The position may require working occasionally on weekends based on business needs, with a shift of 6 am-2:30 pm including a 30-minute lunch break.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cypress, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
