**Job Title: Molding Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Molding Technician to set up and maintain production on plastic injection molding machines. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality production, maintaining tools and molds, and performing necessary machine maintenance. This role requires a thorough understanding of machine operation and troubleshooting. **Responsibilities** + Setup machine: clamp tool into machine, connect knockout bar and cooling system, change the barrel and screw, load the program from disk, fill up material bins, heat up machine and tool, feed material from dryer to the loader, check all speeds for mold closing and opening, ejection and injecting, and start the machine after installing new tools. + Maintain high-quality production by performing first piece inspections and making maintenance and tool room work orders on MP2. + Maintain tools and molds through cleaning and general maintenance. + Perform general maintenance including housekeeping duties and maintaining robots and molding machines. + Handle materials by cleaning dryers and loaders, blowing out dryers and loaders, and switching hoses to load the correct material. + Follow all safety and housekeeping regulations. + Comply with all QMS and EMS procedures and work instructions, including recycling and proper handling of waste and oil. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Mechanical aptitude with machine repair and plastic injection molding. + Ability to perform machine setups and operate injection molding machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. + Knowledge of mechanical systems and injection molding processes. **Why Work Here?** Join a clean, well-organized shop with a supportive work environment. Training will occur on the 1st shift for about a month.
