Lead the Team That Keeps Global Manufacturing Moving as a Molding Machine Maintenance Supervisor 

 

Location: Manchester, NH | Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,000 + bonuses | Schedule: Full-Time 

 

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Molding Machine Maintenance Supervisor for a direct-hire role with a global leader in aerosol valve manufacturing. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional ready to guide a team, drive equipment reliability, and support high-volume molding operations used around the world. 

 
 

The Impact You’ll Make 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for maximizing machine uptime, maintaining safety and quality standards, and developing a skilled maintenance team. Your leadership and technical expertise will directly influence production efficiency, preventative maintenance success, and continuous improvement across molding operations. 

 
 

What You’ll Do Day to Day 

Supervise, coach, and train maintenance technicians and mechanics 

Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of molding machines and auxiliary equipment 

Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program for molding operations 

Monitor equipment for wear, breakdowns, and performance issues; initiate timely repairs 

Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment 

Maintain accurate documentation for downtime, repairs, and equipment improvements 

Manage tools, spare parts, and replacement inventory to support operations 

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to diagnose issues and guide repairs 

Partner with operations and engineering teams to improve machine performance and quality 

Ensure repairs and improvements are completed efficiently to reduce downtime 

Perform additional duties as required to support department goals 

 
 

What We’re Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

High school diploma or equivalent 

Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment 

Strong working knowledge of injection molding equipment 

Proven understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems 

Ability to read and interpret schematics and equipment documentation 

Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced production environment 

Preferred Qualifications 

Technical or trade school training 

1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience 

Experience in plastic injection molding operations 

Preventative maintenance program leadership experience 

 
 

Physical & Work Environment Requirements 

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally and up to 38 lbs frequently 

Stand for extended periods (7–8 hours per shift) 

Work in a clean, ventilated manufacturing environment with active machinery 

Comfortable with moderate dust levels, mechanical noise, and PPE requirements
