Job Title: Mold Technician

Job Description

As a Mold Technician, you will be responsible for changing over molds in machines between production runs. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Perform machine setup, operate machinery safely, and ensure safety features are functioning properly.Record and dispose of scrap accurately, and complete rework at the end of the day.Accurately complete paperwork and data entry.Inspect and measure parts and products to ensure they meet specifications.Operate heavy equipment, including cranes and forklifts.

Essential Skills

Experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to stand for the entire shift outside of break time.Good interpersonal skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.Skills in machine operation, mold setting, mechanical work, hand tools, production control, and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in mold setting, mold technician roles, injection molding, and blow molding would be preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment with shifts available on the 1st (7 am-3:30 pm), 2nd (3:30 pm-11 pm), and 3rd (11 pm-7:30 am) shifts. The environment requires the operation of heavy machinery and adherence to safety protocols.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greencastle, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36360.00 - $38480.00/yr.
