We are seeking a dedicated Mold Setter to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for executing mold changes efficiently and ensuring quality standards are met. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting and involves hands-on work with both small extrusion and plastic injection presses.
ResponsibilitiesPerform 4-5 mold changes per shift, ensuring the process is completed safely and efficiently.Lock out and tag out machinery before mold changes.Remove and transport old molds to the tool room and insert new molds.Attach water lines, adjust temperatures, and conduct a first piece run-off.Troubleshoot the first piece to ensure it meets specifications before proceeding to the next mold change.Work collaboratively in a two-person team to produce secondary parts for assembly at other plants.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in mold/die setting within the plastic industry.2 years of Crane and Hilo operation experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in first piece troubleshooting (issues such as burn, splay, short) is a plus.Why Work Here?Join a company that values its employees with a direct hire opportunity and excellent benefits. Work EnvironmentWork in a very clean and modern manufacturing facility. The environment includes smaller extrusion machines and dual profile rotary, double-shot injection presses such as Engels and Van Dorns. Utilize 60-ton overhead cranes in a well-organized space. Shifts are 8 hours long, with three shift options available: 1st Shift (7am to 3pm), 2nd Shift (3pm to 11pm), and 3rd Shift (11pm to 7am). The average work week consists of 6 days, with occasional 7-day weeks.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $37440.00/yr.
Direct Hire, 2 weeks PTO, benefits start 1st of the month following 30 days.
