Mold Setter
**Job Title: Die/Mold Setter** **Job Description** The Mold Setter will focus on the proper setup of mold changes and perform beginning to intermediate processor duties. This role is available on the A shift. **Responsibilities** + Operate hoists to pull and set molds of considerable size. + Perform all material handling duties and troubleshoot back side setup tasks. + Install hot runner cables, configure setup, and load robot programs. + Load and verify processes according to the setup checklist. + Ensure cell layout matches the blue book specifications. + Complete the setup checklist efficiently. + Purge new materials in preparation for startups. + Perform simple startups under the guidance of a Process Technician. + Ensure all components and materials from previous jobs are cleared from the area. + Verify housekeeping is completed before press startups. + Conduct mold changes as directed by the Shift Manager or Lead. **Essential Skills** + 1.5 years of experience in plastic injection molding mold setting. + Ability to articulate previous experience in mold setup, including equipment and materials used. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with plastics injection molding, mold setup, die setting, and operating molding machines. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive wages and a rich benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, short and long-term disability coverage, paid holidays, a 401K plan with matching, tuition reimbursement, and an employee referral bonus program. The environment is warm due to the lack of temperature control, but large shipping doors are opened on cooler days to mitigate the heat. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Saline, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.
