**Job Title: Mold Set-Up Technician** **Job Description** As a Mold Set-Up Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of complex multi-cavity molds with various types of hot runner systems. You will analyze mold conditions for preventative maintenance using check sheets, QA reports, pull shots, and visual inspections. Additionally, you will operate machine tools to fabricate and repair mold components, fixtures, and gauges. **Responsibilities** + Repair and maintain complex multi-cavity molds with various types of hot runner systems. + Analyze mold conditions for preventative maintenance using check sheets, QA reports, pull shots, and visual inspections. + Operate machine tools to fabricate and repair mold components, fixtures, and gauges. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in plastic molding techniques. + Experience as a mold technician, toolmaker, or mechanic. + **To be clear, just needs experience and can communicate experience placing and adjusting the molds** + Strong troubleshooting skills. + Knowledge in tool and die construction. + Experience with injection mold set-up. + Mechanical inclination and ability to operate machines. + Experience with hot runner systems and tooling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Four years of experience on the job or apprenticeship. + Experience in the construction, alteration, or repair of complicated tools, molds, and gauges. **Work Environment** This role operates within a manufacturing facility. The position offers shifts including 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm with weekends off, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am with Fridays and Saturdays off, with training on the assigned shift.
