Our client is seeking a Skilled Mold Operator to join their team. As a Skilled Mold Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the injection molding process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and strong mechanical aptitude, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Skilled Mold Operator** **Location: Rockford, MI** **Pay Range:** **Shift:** 6:50am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday **What's the Job?** + Set up, adjust, operate, and perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. + Monitor machine operation to ensure proper cycle times, temperatures, and pressures. + Perform mold changes, start-ups, and shut-downs following standard procedures. + Conduct in-process inspections to verify part quality and make necessary adjustments. + Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, mold, or production issues to minimize downtime. **What's Needed?** + High school diploma or equivalent required. + At least 2 years of experience in plastic injection molding operations preferred. + Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills. + Familiarity with mold setup, preventative maintenance, and quality inspection tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Consistent daytime schedule with weekends off. + Competitive hourly pay rate. + Chance to develop valuable skills in injection molding operations. + Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality.
