We are seeking an experienced Mold Maker to join our team for an exciting opportunity. The role involves fabricating new molds, making modifications, and performing repairs according to detailed blueprints. This position is crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our mold manufacturing process.
ResponsibilitiesFabricate new molds, make modifications, and repair molds according to blueprints.Utilize manual machining equipment such as mills, lathes, and grinders/polishers to machine parts for molds.Assemble molds with precision.Perform grinding, polishing, and finishing tasks on molds.Troubleshoot and perform tryouts for new molds.Conduct mold repairs as needed.
Essential Skills4+ years of experience using manual machining equipment to machine parts for molds (Mill, Lathe, Grinder/Polisher).4+ years of experience in assembling molds.4+ years of experience in grinding, polishing, and finishing molds.4+ years of experience in troubleshooting and conducting tryouts for new molds.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC programming is a plus.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience in the die industry, in addition to molds, is also considered.

Work Environment

Enjoy a four-day workweek with shifts from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime opportunities on Fridays. The company has recently expanded with three additional machining centers due to increased demand.
