**Job Title: Facilities Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a Facilities Technician where you will visit customer sites to install monitors. This role involves light low voltage work, similar to installing fire alarms, and is essential due to new CO2 regulations. You will be working with CAT 5 cabling for straightforward installations at restaurants, gas stations, and various other client locations. Note that this is not a residential role. **Responsibilities** + Visit customer sites to install CO2 monitors. + Perform light low voltage work, similar to fire alarm installations. + Install monitors directly to systems using CAT 5 cabling. + Ensure installations meet the quota of 3 installs per day. + Document site visits and mileage for reimbursement. + Communicate politely and effectively with current customers. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Willingness to learn. + Ability to work independently and honestly. + Strong communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in repair, assembly, and construction. + Ability to document work accurately. + Capability to drive to various customer sites. **Work Environment** This role involves working independently across multiple markets with minimal field management. You will document your daily activities and mileage for reimbursement. Initial training includes two weeks of onboarding and shadowing a technician to learn the installation process. Daily tasks involve collecting assignments at the depot each morning, traveling to customer sites, performing installations, and returning to report. Typical work hours are from 7am to 5:30pm **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
