As a Mobile Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the International Private Bank, you are part of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with demonstrated applied experience in mobile application development.Extensive experience developing mobile applications using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., Swift/SwiftUI/Combine for iOS, Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Coroutines for Android).Practical knowledge of mobile platform security best practices, including secure data storage, encryption, and authentication.Experience building reusable libraries, frameworks, components, and APIs for mobile platforms.Demonstrated hands-on experience in backend development using languages such as Java or Python, including designing, developing, and integrating robust server-side logic and APIs to support mobile applications.Hands-on experience with database development and managementPractical experience in backend cloud engineering and maintenance using platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, or Cloud Foundry, including deploying, scaling, and monitoring cloud-based applications.Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large-scale, corporate environment, including working with database querying languages.Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, resiliency, and security.Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within technical disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technologies.
