**Job Title: Batching Technician/Machine Operator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Batching Technician, working on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and quality of batch production, contributing to the creation of unique flavors and seasonings for the food industry. **Responsibilities** + Examine the batch card and verify the math related to the number of bulk bags or boxes and the accompanying pieces for each line item. + Physically inspect bags and containers for the correct ingredient codes and names, and verify the count on the skids. + Check that non-bulk pieces are correctly accounted for on the piece skid, ensuring printout quantities match batch card entries. + Initial pieces without a corresponding printout, with exceptions for Liquid Batches. + Verify batch container counts as noted on the batch card. + Attach florescent pink QC labels to each skid, listing the product and lot numbers, and the skid sequence. + Initial and date the batch card once all weights and counts are verified. + Communicate with the Production Room Manager to add the batch to the mixing schedule. + Recheck batches that sit overnight before they are mixed, ensuring QC stickers are removed and replaced as needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in chemical processing, batching, and R&D. + Experience in calibration, quality control, bottling, packaging, and material handling. + Forklift operation and inventory management skills. + Basic math skills and strong attention to detail. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2-5 years of experience in the food industry. **Why Work Here?** This is a friendly and welcoming workplace where overtime opportunities are available.
