Job Title: MixerJob Description

Operate mixing machines, filling machines, and baggers while utilizing a sit-down forklift. The role includes working in teams of 3-4, operating mixers, fillers, and grinding machines. Responsibilities include scooping cauliflower into a grinding machine, mixing it with other vegetables, and operating a tumbler. The process involves reading and interpreting batch tickets, weighing ingredients, adding raw materials, and monitoring equipment on the line.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor mixing, filling, and grinding machines.Work collaboratively in a team of 3-4 members.Scoop cauliflower into a grinding machine to create finer material.Operate tumbler 2-3 days a week to mix materials with specific starches and ingredients.Read and interpret batch tickets to prepare dough.Weigh and add specific amounts of raw materials and starches to each batch.Set up and monitor equipment including mixers, fillers, ovens, presses, baggers, and cartoners.Monitor and adjust temperatures, speed, and durations for production processes.Perform visual and quality inspections to ensure product standards.Conduct equipment maintenance, including clearing jams and wiping down machinery.Essential SkillsGMP experienceFood production and batching experience1+ years of experience in the food industryMachine operation and mixing experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with baggers, wrappers, films, cartoners, mixers, and fillersBilingual skills are a plusWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

Work involves operating in and out of cold environments, with normal temperatures experienced during the visit. Expect colder conditions during winter. Flexible shifts are available, including 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) with a $.75 differential, 3rd shift (11pm-7am) with a $1 differential, and 1st shift (7am-3:30pm). Overtime potential exists, including possible Saturday work depending on production needs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
