**Job Title: Mix and Blend Operator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Mix and Blend Operator, where you will play a crucial role in setting up, operating, and maintaining our filling machines in a fast-paced food production environment. You will work back half nights from Wednesday to Friday, and every other Saturday, with shifts running from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Flexibility to train on another shift is required. **Responsibilities** + Set-up, operate, and maintain filling machines. + Perform and record quality checks to ensure product integrity and package quality. + Conduct nominal maintenance on equipment. + Perform and document CIP's (Cleaning In Place) and in-process sanitation on equipment and areas as needed. + Ensure adherence to food safety and quality protocols. + Follow all Safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations at all times. + Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, and aprons. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing or similar role. + Ability to follow recipes and handle 40lb+ bags of ingredients. + Proficiency in machine operation and production processes. + Strong attention to detail. + Computer literacy and familiarity with HMI (Human Machine Interface) operations. + Strong interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. + Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Ability to read charts and monitors. + Ability to multitask effectively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift 50-55 lbs. regularly. + Capability to push up to 300 pounds and pull up to 500 pounds with mechanical assistance. + Ability to stand for 12+ hours and work in an environment with strong odors. + Steel toe boots are required for all production and warehouse positions. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a significant financial incentive with a $1000 bonus for every month employed until the plant shutdown in July 2026, providing a substantial lump sum bonus upon completion. **Work Environment** Experience a dynamic and fast-paced food production environment, monitoring packaging lines and ensuring product quality.
