The MN ACT Administrative Support position exists to provide statewide administrative support 80 percent to Minnesota Access to Communication Technology (MN ACT) and the Minnesota Relay Outreach Program and 20 percent to Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing State Services Division (State Services). Responsibilities include:
+ Support MN ACT Specialists statewide by entering applications in the database, creating and mailing letters, preparing outreach materials and ordering supplies/office equipment for staff
+ Record, track and process budgetary invoices and and produce MN ACT monthly and quarterly reports
+ Provides administrative support to State Services
**Minimum Qualifications**

Accounting/Budgeting/Expense sufficient to budget record keeping including invoice processing
Bookkeeping skills to track, manage invoices, and record budget in a spreadsheet
Communication Skills including clear and pleasant communication via phone, videophone and email with a diverse group of staff who may be Deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind
Database, Documents, and Records Management including computer operation, software use (electronic mail, database, word processing, spreadsheet)
English Language sufficient to use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation and attention to detail to note take during meetings
Signing Skills sufficient to communicate fluently in American Sign Language
**Preferred Qualifications**
• Personal or professional knowledge of the telecommunication needs of people who are deaf, deafblind, hard of hearing or who have physical or speech disabilities
• Ability to prioritize work and multitask involving a variety of assignments
• Willingness and ability to acquire additional skills in technological applications as they apply
• Interpersonal relationships and office protocol
• Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and/or cultures
