As a Mining Services Business Consultant, you will lead the performance insights and strategy execution to achieve Resource Industries (RI) Customer Value Agreement (CVA) growth.
The Resource Industries Sales, Services and Technology (RISST) division is a global and customer-focused organization responsible for the go-to-market strategy for surface and underground mining. We are focused on delivering the ultimate customer experience and customers achieving their Physical Availability (PA) targets through services and integrated site solutions.
You will be responsible for ensuring the performance and execution of the CVA strategy is contributing to services growth and customers achieving PA targets. You will leverage data to provide actionable insights to highlight and prioritize opportunities for our RISST teams and Cat dealers to develop, offer, and execute customer outcome-driven CVAs. You will also guide the enhancement of CVA reporting tools, systems, and processes.
**What you will do:**
+ Guide CVA development, execution, and performance toward the achievement of customer PA targets.
+ Execute CVA performance reporting, visualization, forecasting, trends, and progress towards targets.
+ Guide the RI CVA growth and execution strategy beyond 2026 – identify, outline, and prioritize key workstreams needed.
+ Provide CVA, Connectivity, and PA data insights to guide and prioritize RISST and Cat dealer efforts.
+ Provide VOB for development and enhancement of Cat Foresight, CVA Signal, and other internal tools.
+ Establish processes for accurate and efficient CVA registration.
+ Support the management of the CVA marketing portfolio.
+ Quantify the value of CVAs and integrate into various tools, resources, materials, and messaging.
+ Utilize lean methodologies to continuously improve processes and performance.
+ Utilize data analysis to guide decisions and address issues through identification of root cause
**What skills you will have:**

Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
**_Customer Focus:_** Experience working with Cat dealers. Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction and ability to leverage that information in creating customized solutions.

**_Service Excellence:_** Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations. Resolve complex customer challenges.
**_Consulting:_** Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to business partners.
**_Influencing:_** Ability to influence and impact decisions within and outside own organization. Makes sound recommendations when faced with alternatives.
**_Problem Solving:_** Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems. Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.
**_Relationship Management:_** Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with business partners.
**Additional Information:**
The primary work location for this role is Tucson, AZ or Peoria, IL, with a requirement to work on-site full-time at a Caterpillar facility.
This position may require 15 % travel.
Domestic relocation assistance is not available.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
