US Got People (USGP) is seeking a dedicated Mind/Body Therapist to support our military service members, veterans, and their families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Position Details:
• Location: Walter Reed NMC – Bethesda, MD
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (Full-time)
• Pay: $33.38/hour + Health & Welfare stipend

Qualifications:
• Education:
• Master of Science in Yoga Therapy or equivalent from an accredited university.
Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• C-IAYT (Certified by International Association of Yoga Therapists)
• E-RYT 200 (Yoga Alliance Registered 200-hour Yoga Teacher)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience within the last 5 years in mind-body medicine (yoga,meditation, mindfulness), preferably in a clinical setting.At least 5 years of experience in the last 7 years teaching contemplative practices to adults
(e.g., yoga, meditation, tai chi, qi gong).Experience integrating complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) into clinical care is
preferred.
Security Clearance:
Must possess an IT-II security clearance or a current NACLC (National Agency Check with Local
Agency and Credit Check).
Licensure/Registration:
Must maintain valid licensure or recognized certification relevant to mind-body practices.Immunization Requirements (Must be current or able to obtain):Hepatitis B (series and titer)Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)Varicella (Chickenpox)TB (Tuberculosis) testSeasonal Influenza (flu) vaccineCOVID-19 vaccine (if applicable)Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
• Serve as a member of the primary care team using a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Consultants and the Integrative Health & Wellness (IHW) team to provide integrated care and consultation.
• Provide evidence-based mind-body services and therapies for a range of behavioral health concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety).
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate, timely documentation (medical charting within 72 hours, in accordance with Joint Commission
standards).
• Deliver group classes in yoga, meditation, and other contemplative practices to patients
and staff.
• Educate and train staff in specialty areas of mind-body medicine.
• Maintain all required licensures, certifications, and ongoing continuing education.
