**Job Title: Millwright Mechanic**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Millwright Mechanic where you will perform essential welding tasks and maintain equipment to ensure efficient operations within our facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using various manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
+ Operate welding equipment utilizing techniques such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shield metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding.
+ Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding process to prevent overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
+ Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned.
+ Report all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions to the proper supervisor for maintenance or repair.
+ Maintain all shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment and replace parts as necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in Electrical, Hydraulics, Mechanical, Welding, Blueprint Reading, and Repair.
+ Strong skills in Industrial Troubleshooting, Pneumatics, Installation, Maintenance Repair, Preventive Maintenance, and Corrective Maintenance.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Heavy Industrial Maintenance Experience.
+ Flux Core Welding Experience.
+ Hand/Power Tool Experience.
+ Electrical Experience.

**Work Environment**
Work in a waste/recycling plant where you will be initially trained on the 1st shift before transitioning to a 2nd or 3rd shift. Training may take between 3-6 months to ensure proficiency with the equipment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Charlestown, MA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
Direct Placement, Overtime, ability to grow within the department, etc.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Charlestown,MA.
