We are seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright with over five years of experience and a journeyman card. The successful candidate will work on tasks such as rigging, moving equipment, welding, dolly repairs, and dock and door plate installations and repairs. You will perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties including inspection, repair, installation, and alteration of maintenance-related equipment and facilities, and execute preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation, and alteration of maintenance-related equipment and facilities.Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout and troubleshooting for piping systems, piping controls, and related components.Install supports and hangers for pipe, components and equipment, valves, and fittings.Install, repair, and maintain HVAC, piping and process controls, water heaters, and conditioners.Perform scheduled maintenance service on piping systems and control valves.Inspect, repair, modify, and install mechanical equipment including conveyors, doors, fans, pumps, machinery, levelers, hydraulic equipment, and more.Install, align, tear down, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and tractors to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up, and repair.Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls.
Essential SkillsIndustrial Millwright experience (5+ years).Journeyman card from the millwright union, boilermaker, regional council or carpenters and millwrights, or ironworkers.Proficiency in troubleshooting, installations, and making repairs.Experience with hydraulics, mechanical systems, rigging, and pipefitting.Strong skills in welding, particularly MIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustrial Mechanic experience.Experience in construction, repair, and maintenance.Experience with chain repair and link adds, shock repair and replacement, safety hook welds, and caster repairs.

Work Environment
This role requires flexibility to work different shifts. You may start on the 2nd shift, but must be open to working on any of the following schedules: 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri), 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri), 3rd Shift (11pm-7:30am Mon-Fri), or 4th Shift (Fri: 7am-3:30pm, Sat & Sun: 7am-7:30pm, Mon: 7am-3:30pm).
