Job Title: MillwrightJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Millwright with proven experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in using precision tools and instruments. You should be able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics, and be familiar with safety protocols and regulations.

ResponsibilitiesTravel to various job sites daily after meeting at the central shop.Weld, fabricate, and repair grain bins and grain elevators.Build platforms and handrails using welding and fabrication techniques.Work with drive chains, gearboxes, bearings, belts, and other machinery parts.Ensure machinery alignment and maintenance.Handle equipment and heavy machinery repairs.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in using precision tools and instruments.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.Welding and fabrication experience, particularly MIG and TIG.Experience with drive chains, gearboxes, bearings, and belts.Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.Valid Driver's License and good driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in carpentry, construction, conduit, wiring, and electrical work.Forklift operation skills.Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screening.Experience in structural steel construction and erecting metal buildings.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work at various job sites, experiencing different environments, including extreme heat. Meet at the central shop every morning and travel to sites, with paid drive time to and from the shop. Be prepared for physically demanding work that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in heights and confined spaces.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windom, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
