Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to conduct equipment maintenance and repairs, focusing on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding repairs. The role ensures minimal downtime and operational efficiency through effective inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of equipment issues. Responsibilities also include electrical repairs and installations, as well as maintaining and operating maintenance systems to track and document activities.

Responsibilities

Conduct equipment maintenance and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding systems.Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues promptly to minimize production disruptions.Execute minor electrical repairs and installations.Operate maintenance systems to track and document maintenance activities.

Essential Skills

Proficient in troubleshooting, welding, blueprint reading, hydraulics, mechanics, and pneumatics.Possession of CofQ 433A certification.Minimum of 3 years' experience as a millwright or maintenance technician.Experience with preventive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.MIG/TIG welding experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to work at heights.Experience with industrial installation and maintenance.

Work Environment

Work in a large, organized facility with continuous movement of large and heavy steel, where safety measures are paramount. The environment is clean, well-lit, and despite being potentially loud, it is safe and easy to navigate with proper safety equipment and tools. The team consists of 30-40 people, including welders and general laborers, and is expanding due to new contracts. The role includes a bi-weekly shift rotation: Days (7 am-4 pm) and Afternoons (4 pm-3 am) with a $1.10 shift premium
