The role requires applying technical expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and CNC equipment to support production requirements.
ResponsibilitiesInspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems.Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and provide effective, timely solutions.Perform equipment changeovers, setups, and relocations as required.Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance programs.Modify, install, dismantle, and assemble machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and schematics.Essential SkillsExpertise in troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.Proficiency with blueprints and schematics.Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and CNC equipment.Must have 443A ticket.Must have Ontario Certificate of Qualification (CofQ).Minimum of 3 years of millwright experience in a manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in training apprentices is an asset.Why Work Here?This opportunity offers extensive health and dental coverage, a defined contribution pension plan, and an annual bonus program. Work EnvironmentThe position involves a 3-shift rotation, changing every 2 weeks. Day shifts run from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, afternoon shifts from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, and night shifts from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM. Employees receive a 10-minute break and a 20-minute paid lunch. The hourly wage is $44.73 with a $0.80 premium on afternoons and a $1.00 premium on nights. A pay increase to $45.62 per hour is scheduled for June 1st.
