Job Description

We are seeking a skilled industrial mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in welding, fabrication, and general mechanical systems, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Responsibilities

Weld pipes and use a torch as needed; fabricate conveyor belts and other mechanical componentsWork with gearboxes, bearings, and other machinery components; troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issuesUse all hand tools, battery-powered tools, and heavy equipment, including manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loadersPerform routine maintenance such as greasing, oil changes, and general cleanupFollow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and performing maintenance tasksBe willing to work weekends, long hours, and respond to short notice work requirements based on production demandsComfortable working at elevated heights when necessaryPerform other duties as assigned

Essential Skills

Proven experience in a mechanical roleStrong knowledge of welding, pipe fitting, and fabricationExperience with conveyor belts, gearboxes, and bearingsAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problemsProficient in using various hand and power toolsExperience operating manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loadersAbility to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spacesStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing settingValid driver’s license

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Deposit, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
