About the RoleAs a Millwright at Zekelman Industries in Niles, Ohio, this role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical and hydraulic systems critical to plant operations. From equipment repairs to preventative maintenance and fabrication, this position directly supports plant efficiency and uptime. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment, enjoys hands-on problem-solving, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and productive workspace.

Pay: $32.27/hour + $6,000 Sign-On Bonus + Production & Monthly Attendance Bonus
What You’ll Do
Performs mechanical and hydraulic maintenance on industrial equipment and systems throughout the plantTroubleshoots mechanical drives and manufacturing equipment to ensure operational uptimeWelds, cuts, and fabricates parts for equipment installation and repairConducts preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtimePrepares detailed reports documenting work performed in accordance with company requirementsPromotes and adheres to OSHA and company safety procedures including LOTO, Arc Flash, and other regulationsLeads safe work practices and maintains a safety-first attitudeWorks rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime as requiredPerforms other duties as assignedMaintains regular, full-time, onsite attendance as an essential job functionWho You Are
5 years of experience in an industrial environment performing mechanical and hydraulic maintenanceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTrade or technical school diploma preferred (including welding, hydraulics, blueprint reading, mechanical training)Certified Welder (3G Plate and other certifications preferred)Proficient in mechanical and hydraulic system troubleshootingStrong fabrication, welding, and cutting skillsComputer literate and capable of interfacing with maintenance systemsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficientlyPositive attitude and strong interpersonal skillsComfortable working at elevated heightsPhysical Abilities
