Job Title: Millwright

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Millwright to perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will maintain accurate records, respond to calls for equipment troubleshooting, and utilize a CMMS system to track task progress. This role involves supporting day-to-day production, attending to calls, and assisting operators in running lines smoothly.

ResponsibilitiesConduct routine maintenance on mechanical equipment such as conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.Perform general facility maintenance duties.Respond to calls for troubleshooting and support major breakdowns when they occur.Support operators in setting up the production line efficiently.Utilize CMMS to track and manage work orders.Essential SkillsRed Seal Millwright certification.3-4 years of experience in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.Proficiency in using CMMS systems for managing work orders.Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety and instruction purposes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with TIG welding.Knowledge of boiler, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.Work Experience in food and beverage manufacturing.Familiarity with SQF and food hygiene practices.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility equipped with numerous conveyors and machines. The environment maintains a temperature of 8-10 degrees. The position is primarily for the afternoon shift, from 2pm to 10:30pm, but strong candidates may be considered for daytime shifts. Overtime is available for those interested. Dress code requires steel toe work boots and prohibits jewelry, nail polish, and fake eyelashes due to food safety. This is a nut-free facility to accommodate allergies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.50 - $45.50/hr.
