**Job Title: Millwright**
**Job Description**
As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing various types of equipment, with a focus on mechanical repairs. You will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of machinery at different sites.
**Responsibilities**
+ Report to the home office in Jackson for daily meetings with the manager.
+ Drive a company truck to the plant, often traveling with a colleague.
+ Perform mechanical maintenance tasks on-site.
+ Work on equipment such as furnaces, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, chain replacements, and conveyor systems.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Install industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using layouts.
+ Utilize hand and power tools for equipment installation and maintenance.
+ Troubleshoot machinery to identify and resolve issues.
+ Fabricate parts using MIG or stick welding techniques.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 2 years experience in a Mechanical Maintenance role.
+ Proficiency in interpreting blueprint and schematic readings.
+ Skill in welding (MIG or Stick) and fabrication.
+ Ownership of basic hand tools.
+ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in electrical maintenance.
+ Knowledge of fabrication techniques.

**Work Environment**
Work primarily on the 2nd shift from 5 PM to 1:30 AM, with potential variations depending on work requirements. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends when OmniSource operates. Employees are on-call one week per month, receiving a bonus and additional pay for hours worked during this period. Candidates must be flexible to work holidays as needed, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. The company operates within a 60-mile radius of Jackson, servicing various plants and providing diverse work experiences.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $56160.00/yr.
Direct Hire with Leimenstoll Services, Overtime Potential, Benefits Offered
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Jackson,MI.
