**Job Title: Millwright** **Job Description** As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing various types of equipment, with a focus on mechanical repairs. You will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of machinery at different sites. **Responsibilities** + Report to the home office in Jackson for daily meetings with the manager. + Drive a company truck to the plant, often traveling with a colleague. + Perform mechanical maintenance tasks on-site. + Work on equipment such as furnaces, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, chain replacements, and conveyor systems. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Install industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using layouts. + Utilize hand and power tools for equipment installation and maintenance. + Troubleshoot machinery to identify and resolve issues. + Fabricate parts using MIG or stick welding techniques. + Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years experience in a Mechanical Maintenance role. + Proficiency in interpreting blueprint and schematic readings. + Skill in welding (MIG or Stick) and fabrication. + Ownership of basic hand tools. + Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in electrical maintenance. + Knowledge of fabrication techniques. **Why Work Here** Join a family-oriented company that values its employees and offers a wide variety of work tasks to keep each day engaging.
