Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Millwright for a dynamic role involving travel across the United States. This position requires at least two years of experience in setting anchor bolts, wedge anchors, and applying epoxy for base plates and sole plates. The role includes welding miscellaneous metals such as stairs, railings, ladders, loose lintels, and various steel components, as well as working with carbon steel and processed pipes. This position involves traveling overnight and may require extended periods away from home, depending on project locations and timelines.

ResponsibilitiesSet anchor bolts, wedge anchors, and apply epoxy for base plates and sole plates.Weld miscellaneous metals including stairs, railings, ladders, loose lintels, and various steel components.Work with materials such as carbon steel and processed pipes.Assist manager/foreman/superintendent as directed.Perform layout using drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.Read and interpret measuring tools accurately to 1/16” and/or 1 mm as required.Understand and apply the concept of 'square' in fabrication and hold tolerances as described on drawings.Operate welding machines and demonstrate proficiency in MIG, stick, and TIG welding.Interpret written directions and specifications.Operate forklift, telehandler, manlift, overhead crane, metal saw, press brake, and iron worker.Apply basic rigging principles and techniques.Work out-of-town for up to two weeks at a time, as required.Work off-hours or weekends as necessary to complete projects.Essential SkillsProficiency in construction, welding (MIG, TIG, stick), and blueprint reading.Experience in iron work, rigging, and industrial environments.OSHA 10 certification.AWS D1.1 certification.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $54.00/hr.
