**Job Title: Mill/Turn Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Mill/Turn Machinist to set up and operate two Nakamura Mill Turn machines, producing parts for heart pumps and valves. The role involves making tool changes, offsets, and editing the G & M code on the machines. You may also be required to operate a Hardinge lathe machine for production. The materials you will work with include titanium, stainless steel, cobalt chrome, peek, and torlon. You will perform quality checks on machine parts to ensure high standards are met. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate Nakamura Mill Turn machines. + Produce parts for heart pumps and valves. + Make tool changes, offsets, and edit G & M code. + Operate Hardinge lathe machine as necessary. + Perform quality checks on machine parts. + Collaborate with shift colleagues for machine assistance. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of Lathe and/or Mill/Turn experience. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Knowledge of G & M code. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Fanuc control. + Proficiency in blueprint reading. + Skills in machining and quality inspection. + Familiarity with CNC lathe and twin spindle lathe operations. + Understanding of micrometer usage. + Nice to have: 5-axis machining experience. **Why Work Here?** Join a smaller-sized medical device shop that stays at the forefront of technology and automation.
