The position involves setting up and operating two Nakamura Mill Turn machines to produce parts for heart pumps and valves. You may also work with Hardinge lathe machines to run production. The role requires making tool changes, offsets, and editing G & M code on the machines. The materials you'll be working with include titanium, stainless steel, cobalt chrome, peek, and torlon. Quality checks on machine parts are a crucial part of the job. Support will be available on shift if you are unfamiliar with the machines.
