**Job Title: Mill Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Mill Operator and play a crucial role in the production of cylinder heads for recreational airplanes. This position requires a blend of physical activity and technical skill to ensure high-quality standards are met.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lift and handle cylinder heads weighing 20-30 pounds throughout the day.
+ Grind and debur parts between flanges.
+ Measure and inspect parts using micrometers and calipers.
+ Document work and defects using both computer systems and traveler documentation.
+ Operate CNC mills without the need to perform setups.
+ Utilize hand tools, grinders, and measurement tools effectively.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with micrometers and calipers.
+ Ability to operate CNC machines.
+ Mechanical inclination and experience with hand tools and grinders.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work with blueprints is advantageous.
+ CNC schooling or interest in advancing a career in CNC machining is a bonus.

**Work Environment**
Work in a well-lit, climate-controlled shop featuring both older and newer machines. The facility is air-conditioned during the summer and heated in the winter, ensuring a comfortable work environment year-round.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
