Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to set up, operate, and tend welding, soldering, or brazing machines. The role involves welding on heavy gauge stainless steel and mild steel, performing 3-pass welds, and working with a variety of compactors, pavement maintenance, and paving machinery. The candidate will be responsible for safely laying out, setting up, and welding components according to blueprints and managing workload in support of production.
Responsibilities

2+ years of MIG welding experience on heavy gauge steel.Experience welding from blueprints.Understanding of GD&T.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
This role is based on the shop floor in a fabrication environment, where occasional loud noises and exposure to UV rays from welding are present. Safety is paramount, with all welding gear and equipment provided except for steel-toed safety boots, which candidates must supply themselves. Personal welding helmets are welcome. Work hours are available on 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and 3rd shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
