Position OverviewWe’re looking for Structural Welders who can confidently run a full‑penetration 3G MIG weld on 3/8\" carbon steel plate. This role is ideal for welders with hands‑on experience in a structural fabrication environment and strong skills in both MIG and Flux‑Core processes.
ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and Flux‑Core welding in 3G vertical and additional positions as neededInterpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawingsUse tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools accuratelySelect appropriate welding methods, equipment, and settings for each jobSet and adjust voltage/amp parameters on welding machinesPrep and cut materials using saws and other shop equipmentGrind, clean, and finish welds to meet quality standardsFit, align, and clamp components according to layout requirementsInspect welds and assemblies to ensure structural soundness and complianceKeep welding equipment in proper working conditionRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 6 months of structural welding experienceStrong MIG and Flux‑Core proficiencyAbility to pass a 3G MIG test on 3/8\" carbon steel plateComfortable reading blueprints and working independentlySolid understanding of machine setup, weld quality, and fabrication practicesCapable of grinding, prepping, and fitting components safely and accuratelyWhat the Company OffersFull benefits packageLong‑term stability with room for growthJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
