**Structural Welder – 3G MIG (Carbon Steel, 3/8" Plate)** **Shift:** 1st Shift — Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM **Position Overview** We’re looking for Structural Welders who can confidently run a full‑penetration 3G MIG weld on 3/8" carbon steel plate. This role is ideal for welders with hands‑on experience in a structural fabrication environment and strong skills in both MIG and Flux‑Core processes. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG and Flux‑Core welding in 3G vertical and additional positions as needed + Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings + Use tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools accurately + Select appropriate welding methods, equipment, and settings for each job + Set and adjust voltage/amp parameters on welding machines + Prep and cut materials using saws and other shop equipment + Grind, clean, and finish welds to meet quality standards + Fit, align, and clamp components according to layout requirements + Inspect welds and assemblies to ensure structural soundness and compliance + Keep welding equipment in proper working condition **Required Skills & Experience** + Minimum 6 months of structural welding experience + Strong MIG and Flux‑Core proficiency + Ability to pass a 3G MIG test on 3/8" carbon steel plate + Comfortable reading blueprints and working independently + Solid understanding of machine setup, weld quality, and fabrication practices + Capable of grinding, prepping, and fitting components safely and accurately **What the Company Offers** + Full benefits package + Long‑term stability with room for growth **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
