Job Description

We are actively hiring a skilled 1st Shift Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding and working with various materials.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, with occasional work on stainless steel and aluminum.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of products.Operate machines such as plasma cutters and mag drills.Fabricate and assemble products as required.Ensure quality and precision in all welding tasks.

Essential Skills

1-3 years of MIG welding experience.Proficiency in welding with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience operating plasma cutters and mag drills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with grinding and working with sheet metal.Familiarity with using a tape measure for precise measurements.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled shop, which may get cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The workweek is Monday through Thursday from 6:30 am to 5:15 pm, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks. Optional work on Friday offers between 5 to 10 hours of overtime.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
