Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team in a fabrication shop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding galvanized sheet metal to create secure joints and will play a crucial role in the production of roofing curbs for HVAC units.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on galvanized sheet metal.Set up welding equipment and replace tanks/wire as needed.Ensure high-quality welds to meet product specifications.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Essential Skills

1+ years of experience in MIG welding.Proficiency in welding and fabrication.Ability to set up and maintain welding equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a fabrication shop setting is preferred.

Work Environment

The position is based in a smaller, non-climate-controlled fabrication shop. The work schedule includes two shifts: the first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and the second shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
