Job Description
The role involves repairing and maintaining various mining equipment through proficient welding techniques and mechanic work. You will work with MIG and Stick welding using .035 and .045 wire with dual shield flux core, as well as perform mechanical tasks on conveyors, dozers, crushers, and other large mining equipment.
ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain all mining equipment using welding techniques.Perform MIG and Stick welding using .035 and .045 wire with dual shield flux core.Conduct mechanic work on conveyors, dozers, crushers, and other large mining equipment.Fabricate by heating, bending steel, reading prints, and cutting and grinding.Perform fit-up and grinding tasks as needed.Read and interpret prints and drawings to execute welding tasks accurately.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG welding with at least 2 years of applicable experience.Experience with flux core welding using 332 fluxcore wire.Ability to fabricate by heating and bending steel, and reading prints.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferably 3-5 years' experience in welding with 1/16” dual shield/flux core.Ability to use an air arc is beneficial.Work Environment
You will work in a covered shop environment from Monday to Thursday and 8 hours on Friday. The working hours are from 5 AM to 3:30 PM during winter months. Some Saturdays may be required for additional work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
