**Job Title: Mig Welder** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Mig Welder on the 2nd Shift, where you will play a crucial role in welding on mild steel ranging from 12-gauge to 1 inch in various positions, including flat, vertical down, and overhead. This position requires you to set up your welding equipment and manage your own projects, ensuring precise measurements, cutting, bending, and building of frames. Your expertise with hand and power tools, tape measures, and other measuring tools will be vital in grinding and polishing welds to perfection using Miller welders. **Responsibilities** + Weld on mild steel in flat, vertical down, and overhead positions. + Set up welding equipment and manage job projects independently. + Measure, cut, bend, and build frames with precision. + Utilize hand and power tools, tape measures, and other measuring tools. + Grind and polish welds to ensure high-quality finishes. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of MIG welding experience on mild steel. + Proficiency in fabrication, tape measure, MIG, and flux core welding. + Experience with structural steel, fitting, and assembly. + 3 years of experience reading blueprints and using a tape measure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Miller welders. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Why Work Here?** Be part of a growing company in a booming industry, building parts for data centers. The 2nd shift runs from 4:30 pm to 3 am with a 4-10s schedule. The team is currently working every other Friday. The facility requires steel-toed shoes, eye and hearing protection. Join a team of roughly 80 employees, with plans to expand to over 100. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Beloit, Wisconsin **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00/yr. 4-10 schedule - try to not work OT but currently working some OT Growing company - they build parts for Data centers, which that industry is taking off In the Iron works district - connected to a golf simulator and bar. Their other facility is Brand new facility with tons of space, great lighting, new machibery and high ceilings. 80 person shop with a lot of growth discussions Laid back environment Extremely competitive pay for the market Direct Hire $1 for 2nd shift Annual raises: Don't do a lot of annual raises, they would bump people up throughout the year Benefits and insurances: $500 deductible for medical - company pays 65%, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k Vacation: 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2, can get an extra week per year based on attendance Company outings: Christmas part offsite, full dinner, open bar, door prizes, lunches every 6 weeks.
