Job Description

We are seeking skilled welders to join our team for various steel welding projects. The role involves MIG welding with materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. You will be responsible for custom welding projects using blueprints and conducting welds at your own workbench. This is a great company to work at in a temperature-controlled environment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on 7 gauge and 10 gauge tanks.Execute custom welding projects by interpreting blueprints.Conduct welding tasks independently at a designated workbench.Work with materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with fabrication and fitting.Expertise in steel welding.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred certifications: AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6 and/or ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code for piping.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, bright, and air-conditioned, with music playing over the PA system to create a pleasant atmosphere. It is a laid-back setting where each welder has their own workbench. The facility includes 24 welding booths, a machining area, and a laser cutting machine. Available shifts are from 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday, and 2:30pm to 1:00am Monday through Thursday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
