**Job Title: MIG Welder** We are seeking experienced MIG welders to join our team. This position involves welding in a custom shop that produces various products for the entertainment industry. The role includes working with MIG and flux core welding techniques. **Responsibilities** + Weld all metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous, using GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW welding processes. + Lay out and fabricate precision weldments from blueprints and engineering concepts with minimal supervision. + Work independently or as part of a team. + Operate various metal forming and cutting machines such as rollers, shears, iron workers, breaks, drill presses, and saws. + Handle rigging and operation of lifting and material handling equipment like overhead cranes, gantries, and forklifts. + Work in complex situations requiring independent judgment while adhering to company policies and procedures. + Assist junior welders as needed. **Essential Skills** + Strong experience in MIG and flux core welding. + Light experience in pipe fitting. + Knowledgeable about gases and filler metals used in welding projects. + Ability to adjust, troubleshoot, and operate various welding machines. + High proficiency in layout technique. + Strong working knowledge of welding safety and OSHA requirements. + Certified in all relevant welding processes. + High proficiency in blueprint reading. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + One to three years of formal training (vocational or technical school) or equivalent on-the-job experience. + Ten years of previous experience in the welding/fabrication field. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a dynamic environment where new projects are constantly being created and built.
